EVERYONE IS INVITED....

I have had a lot of you that have projects and things you would like to work on WITH ME! I am flattered! In a round about way I've decided that this Friday from 1 pm-midnight will be open stamp day at my house!

You will need to bring anything you need to work on your projects including adhesive, paper cutter, and ink. I will have my big shot and all of my stamps out for you to use! Plus I will be available for questions if needed! That means....if you are wanting to cut fabric for bows or blankets....come on over!

I am asking that everyone bring a treat to share....healthy or sweet you decide! I welcome you to bring your children to play with mine as long as you promise to be responsible for them:) Please bring any extra snacks or drinks they may need and please please please be willing to clean up any mess your child helps to create!

I am so excited to see all of you! Please let me know if you are planning on coming so I can provide a seat and a stamping spot for everyone! Bring a friend if you want!

Vegas Baby!

Lisa, Chelsey, Shelli, and Haley

Above: Look at the pile of purses and scrapbook bags we had amongst the three of us!

I just got back from an action packed weekend to LAS VEGAS! What for? Stampin' Up! Regional Convention! The conference was held at Lake Las Vegas, which was breath taking! And guess what? I finally got that coveted picture with Shelli Gardner (co founder and CEO of Stampin' Up!). Funny place that I met Shelli? In the bathroom! We learned LOTS and LOTS of cute projects, tips, and a few things that I think we all should've known already but didn't! I can't wait for my upcoming classes to share with you. Every demonstrator loves "swapping" at a convention because it brings so many ideas to the table. Swapping is where you take cards you've made and swap them with the other attendees. I took 55 this time....so I came home with 55 beautiful cards made by other demonstrators. The ideas you can get from a swap are ENDLESS. The HIGHLIGHT of my trip had to be....the swap contest that was judged by the Stampin' Up! team. Everyone submitted one of their swaps to be displayed and judges...GUESS WHO WON!? That's right? ME!!! Wanna see a picture of my card? TOO BAD! I traded them all away! My stamp clubbers will be making one to take home this month!:) I won a $50 Stampin' Shopping Spree! YAY FOR FREE STAMPS!

--Sorry if this post sounds like it rambles on. One of the perks of Vegas is the mass amount of sleep you get while you are there. Just kidding....we slept for three hours the night of the convention and we aren't even partiers! Ha! Look how sleepy I look!

Hello Lollie!

Look at this pretty baby! My favorite comment after 9 hours of labor on this girl was when my husband walked in and said "oh....nice!" My stamping BFF and I almost cried. These puppies are a beaut... but are definatley a "lollie" of love. I need one of these for every holiday for every room! Will I be doing a class for this? Keep watching!

August Club!

Sorry about the sideways picture....but I am way too sleepy to fix it:) Want to learn how we made these? Come to stamp club! Email me if you are an out of towner and we can still work you in! Click on the tab at the to of the page "join the club."

In my defense....

Technically Figi can be spelled two ways...Fiji or Figi. Stampin' Ups picture says Fiji, but when you save it to repost is saves as Figi. Ha Ha Ha! Send me to Fij(g)i!

Huge Promotion!

Remember...each set comes with two of each design, so if you have a friend that wants to split this with you:) Or you can each order 4 and have more! You can get a lot of the paper to have on hand! Don't worry....I got one of each!

Sketch Challenge

A couple goals that I set for myself this month were....get my stampin' blog up and running, check! And to participate in one of the many card "challenges" out there. I found this website and thought this sketch challenge would be fun. Here's what I came up with! It's a man card! Man cards are so tough for me and I didn't even intend for it to be so masculine, so I am very proud. If you want to learn how to fold the little oragami shirt, keep checking back, I will be using this technique in a class!

Laundry? Who? What?

So....I went downstairs to grab a load of laundry out. Did I get lost? YES. I went into my scrap room and started to pick up and finish a few odds and ends projects. Made a couple cards...ha ha! This is a creation fromt tonight. It is "scraplifted" from an idea I saw somewhere. I really really liked the rich razzleberry, pink, and brown combo! I also love the Aviary stamp set! I would love anything that had "tweeters" in it! After I stamped for a couple of hours...I remembered and grabbed a load of laundry to hurry and fold. Missions accomplished.
